1250 Series - Heavy-Duty Wind Load Rated Roll Up Sheet Door with Wind Locks

The 1250 Series roll up sheet door is designed for commercial and industrial facilities in severe wind zones that require both large openings and maximum wind protection. The 1250 Series combines heavy-duty construction with an integrated wind lock system that meets most building code requirements in hurricane-prone and extreme wind areas. Each 1250 Series door uses J-clip wind locks and reinforced guide system engineered for openings up to 14' wide, delivering the highest level of wind resistance for marinas, warehouses, and recreational facilities in exposed coastal locations. The result is code-compliant protection for commercial operations where both door size and severe weather resistance are required.

J-Clip Wind Lock System
Each 1250 door features 12-gauge J-clips installed every 6-1/2", working in conjunction with the integrated 12-gauge windbar system for superior wind resistance without special tools or complicated installation.
Optional lifting mechanisms
  • 8:1 chain hoist
  • Motor
Minimum Clearance
For proper exterior door installation, a 1-1/2" deep rain lip must be formed in the concrete slab extending a minimum of 4-1/2" from the interior face of the jamb.
Optional Insulation
Optional insulated roll-up doors are available for the 1250 Series. This insulation primarily serves as a radiant barrier that helps reduce condensation in humid environments and is especially beneficial for doors exposed to direct sunlight. The insulation reduces interior door surface temperatures in hot conditions. Please note that while insulation provides these benefits, it doesn't create a fully climate-controlled environment on its own, as air gaps around the guides are necessary for proper door operation.
