SteelBlue’s Open Door: 2025 Second Quarter Review

As we wrap up another exciting quarter, I'm filled with gratitude for everything we've accomplished together. From the energy of the Inside Self-Storage (ISS) show, launching new products to the exciting new partnerships that strengthen our competitive edge, this past quarter has been packed with progress, even in the face of industry challenges.

I am particularly proud of the Team that attended the ISS show, as our presence made a statement. The conversations with industry peers, the connections formed, and the insights gained all reinforced our position as a serious player in this space. It was incredible to see our Team's passion and expertise on full display, and to see how our solutions are resonating in the market. These moments are where relationships are built, and reputations are established—and for that, I am proud.

At the ISS show, our Team showcased our partnership with OpenTech Alliance to offer pre-punched doors for their INSOMIAC SmartLock line. We look forward to seeing this partnership grow and are excited to provide the industry with a smart lock solution. You can learn more about how these locks can be a great fit for your doors here. In addition to announcing our partnership with OpenTech at the ISS show, we also launched our newest door – the 9570-LASeries. This door is part of our live axle series, which is wind-rated and Florida approved. The product development Team worked diligently to create the best door for the market, and the test results they've received were the best I've ever seen. I encourage you to read more about how this door can be a great fit for your next build.

In addition, over the past few weeks, I have had the privilege of engaging in one-on-one conversations with many of our employees. These discussions were enlightening and reminded me that our greatest strength lies not only in our strategy or products but in our people. Based on these collective insights, my Team and I have been reviewing various aspects of our business, including our remarkable growth, incredible successes, and the unforgettable journey we’ve taken as a company. As we look to the future, we recognize that alignment is crucial for achieving our targets and implementing our vision and strategies. Therefore, I'd like to discuss with you what all that includes:

Growth To date, SteelBlue continues to grow at a rapid pace. With that in mind, we have to put resources in place to support that growth, including adding coverage to the Sales Team. We have recently added Trace Oswald, a National Business Development Manager. Trace is an excellent fit for our Team as his commitment to being there for customers from the first call to project completion exemplifies what makes SteelBlue who we are.

We also made an important leadership update for Ashley Harper, our Chief Marketing Officer, who expanded their role as Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer (CMRO). This change reflects our commitment to a deeper alignment between the marketing strategy and revenue generation, as well as strengthening our inside sales capabilities to support continued business success. As part of this evolution, I also want to recognize Jared Gabaldon who has stepped up impressively under Ashley's leadership. He has now taken on a more significant role, leading our lead generation in efforts to fuel the inside sales function. Jared has demonstrated exceptional initiative, strategic insight, and a passion for driving results.

Collaboration - At SteelBlue, we understand that we wouldn’t be where we are today without our incredible Team, and that is why we put a strong emphasis on collaboration. We believe that being transparent enables our organization to help one another improve everyday. Therefore, I distribute a weekly dashboard to the company, allowing them to see where we measure against our business plans. Doing so enables the Team to collaborate and drive home our goals for the remainder of the year.

Partnerships – Our collaborations with leading organizations and the trusted relationships we have built with customers and allies are fundamental to how we operate. Partnerships are at the core of our identity. Each new alliance opens doors to greater innovation, expanded reach, and shared knowledge and resources, all of which strengthen our ability to fulfill our mission. These partnerships enhance our impact, encourage our growth, and connect us with new communities that energize our work.

It is an exciting point in time at SteelBlue. We have worked incredibly hard to build a successful company, and we can all take great pride in what we have accomplished, together. We have a lot of positive momentum to carry into the rest of the year, and I look forward to being part of it with all of you.

As always, we thank you for your continued partnership, support, and interest in SteelBlue. Building Tomorrow, Today…We Win Together!
