SteelBlue Building Components was founded on October 21, 2021, by a well-known group of industry leaders striving to provide customers with a differentiated product that addresses and improves known challenges in the building industry. At SteelBlue, we take pride in listening to our customers to find the right innovative solution to help them succeed in achieving their goals. We do this by offering high-quality products, including a variety of roll-up doors, hallway systems and services at the best value.
What’s in a name?
The name SteelBlue comes from a combination of our business footprint. We are headquartered in the "STEEL-city" Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, while our manufacturing capabilities are in the "BLUE-grass" state of Frankfort, Kentucky. Hence, the word "Steel" represents the industry we serve and our roots in Pittsburgh, and "blue" comes from the nickname given to the bluegrass state of Kentucky…STEELBLUE.
